Mission and Vision

Vision: to create a gracious environment where the children are loved and trained to grow by being planted in the Word, watered by the Spirit to become fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Mission: We are a team of equipped teachers following Christ, partnering with God, parents, and Grace Place Ministries in beginning the discipleship process. Curriculum for each age stage classroom will go through a specific aspect of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It will also connect with Sunday Sermons to allow for deeper conversation at home. Through personal relationships with the teacher and additional resources, our goal is to plant and/or water seeds of faith with parents in practice and prayer that these children become like the tree in Psalm 1:3, “he is like a tree planed by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers”.

Core Values

Parents will take the primary responsibility for discipling their children. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

God has given this task to parents. GRACEKids seeks to assist parents in disciples making in two ways: through loving and training your child in the things of God while they are with us, but mainly through the structure of curriculum, additional resources, and a personal relationship with your child’s teacher. We desire to support you in every way to “train up your child in the way that he should go, so that when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).” We expect GRACEKids teachers and parents to utilize each other for the best ways to disciple these children.

The Bible is the foundation for all curriculum, training, and correction. (2 Peter 1:3, 2 Timothy 3:16)

Through the knowledge of God, we have all we need for life and godliness and for teaching, reproof, correction, and training. The knowledge of God comes through His Word. GRACEKids teachers seek to know God and His word for themselves enabling them to plan, teach, train, and bring correction in a biblical way.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be the primary message (John12:32, 1 Corinthians 3:6)

To become a disciple of Christ, we must repent, surrender our lives to His lordship, and continue in the new life He offers through following Him and obeying His commands. It is the Gospel that allows for salvation. GRACEKids teachers desire to labor with parents to water and plant the Gospel of Jesus into them so God can give the increase.

Sincere godly love, grace, and training is our mission (1 Timothy, 1:5, Matthew 28:18-20)

GRACEKids teachers seek to graciously love and train from a pure heart, good conscience, and sincere faith. We commit to praying, serving, sacrificing, teaching, and laboring with all love for God, for you, and for your children. In everything we do (including correction), it will be in love, grace, and truth.
